MIFGS 2025 – ‘ Room to Breathe

What a pleasure to be a part of the 2025 Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show (MIFGS). Showcasing in the Boutique gardens category was a great opportunity to showcase our skills as a design & construct company with the whole team working collaboratively together.

Design Statement

The biophilia hypothesis suggests that humans have an innate, biological drive to connect with nature. In todays fast-paced world, nurturing this bond with nature is more important than ever.

This garden titled ‘Room to Breathe’ explores the seamless integration of nature with the built environment—a harmonious blend where each enhances the other. Landscape celebrates architecture, while architecture frames and elevates the landscape.

The central skylight fosters a direct connection to the sky while the planted mound with cascading greenery above, evoke the layered beauty of an Australian rainforest, echoing its canopy and understorey.
