About This Project

This Garden was designed to incorporate the natural sandstone from the property to ensure the theme of the house was not lost in the transformation of the garden. The garden and its plant choices and layout where designed to be viewed from two points, above (from the balconies) and from below as you take the journey from the bottom of the property to the top. The hard landscapes such as the bush rock retaining walls are installed to create symmetry when looking down from above (whilst using the natural existing sandstone outcrops) and the planting scheme accompanies them nicely. The plants were also chosen to inspire from the bottom of the property, cascading over the walls to dapple the earthy stone with green & silver vegetation and interesting flower colours as well as striking natives.
